Buildings and Room Finder

The University has developed an app (available as a desktop version and as a mobile app for students) to provide you with directions from one building to another and covers buildings on all three of our campuses. You can also get directions to particular rooms and it’s linked to AccessAbles’s website so you can get information on building access.

You can also use the University’s interactive Gilmorehill campus map. This can give you directions from one building to another like the Room Finder app but also allows you to add in features you might be looking for, such as public toilets, disabled parking bays, and even allows you to view locations of rooms on particular levels for specific key buildings.

AccessAble provide an online description of the physical access features of over 100 university services and buildings across all three of our campuses, including:

• the Hunterian Museum
• Sports and Recreation Service
• Library
• various accommodation sites.

Mobility Scooters are available for loan on a daily basis for staff and students who have difficulty moving between locations on campus. Please contact the Disability Service directly for further details.

A limited number of transit wheelchairs are available for visitors from the Main Gatehouse, Hunterian Museum and Hunterian Art Gallery and the Hunterian at the Kelvin Hall. To check availability please contact the individual areas before arriving:
