We’ve also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.

Non-accessible content

We list the content that is not accessible below with details of where it fails the success criteria.

  • A small number of pages have content in different languages where we have not identified the language. This fails WCAG 2.1A 3.1.1 A success criterion (Language of Page).
  • A few elements do not have visible focus when used by keyboard only, which fails WCAG 2.1AA 2.47 success criteria (Focus Visible).
  • Error messages on some forms are unclear or lack clear association with particular form controls. This fails WCAG 2.1A 3.3.1 success criteria (Error Identification).
  • Guidance has been created to help the FCA understand the requirements for captions for all new videos. This is related to WCAG 2.1A success criteria 1.2.2 (Captions (Prerecorded)).
  • Some images do not have an appropriate text alternative. This fails WCAG 2.1A success criteria 1.1.1 (non-text content).

Disproportionate burden
