Many organizations share high-volume documents such as bills, statements, notices, policy contracts and tickets as PDF files. While these documents are easy to share and download, many stakeholders in the company may be unable to access them to receive important company information. This includes people with blindness, visual impairments or cognitive disabilities.
To meet PDF/UA requirements and achieve compliance with accessibility laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508, organizations must make their PDFs accessible from the start.
