A day after announcing M2-powered MacBook Pros and Mac minis, Apple on Wednesday lit up its Newsroom website yet again by announcing a resurrected HomePod. The second generation smart speaker, which costs $299 and starts shipping February 3, is the company’s first full-sized HomePod since discontinuing the original model in March 2021 after three years on the market.
