December 3rd marks the United Nations celebration of International Day of Persons with Disabilities which should provide a touchstone moment to recognize the contributions of persons with disabilities but refine the value that this community has in redefining the very essence of business culture. Since the early 2000’s with the rise of the digital economy we have seen a significant shift in the relationship business has closing the gap around the employment of persons with disabilities. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is becoming a more central tenant within the strategic thinking of how corporations are run and seen as critical for long-term growth and success.
