Medium Accessibility and Capitalism.

I’ve finally left Medium. I’ve exported all of my content and have scheduled posts to go up on this little corner of the web. Of course, I’m still looking to move to my own website, at some point, but for now, I’m sticking with word press.com, even though I like ClassicPress a lot more.
The short version for eventually moving to my own static website is because it will be my domain. You all will have to take a step into my corner of the web. Not stop by a virtual booth I’m borrowing in someone’s house. I plan to do lots of things, like have no ads on my site but still have web monetization. There won’t be popups. My theme will be easy on the eyes. I haven’t found one as good as this WordPress theme I’m using, but I’m still looking. Anyway, Let’s get right to it, why did I leave Medium?
To put it simply, Medium didn’t care about accessibility. I don’t think they ever will, truly, care about accessibility and inclusive design. Shockingly, non-disabled people are agreeing with me.
