What’s your favorite pizza? No matter how you prefer it—deep dish, cracker crust, gluten-free; extra cheese or no cheese; vegetarian or loaded with meat—it seems like everyone enjoys pizza. Perhaps we often take for granted how easy it can be to get this wildly popular food, whether picking it up, dining in or ordering one for delivery.
Just as a pizzeria without a wheelchair ramp poses an impediment to entry for those diners with mobility issues, a restaurant’s website or mobile app that isn’t compatible with screen-reading software poses an impediment for those who are visually impaired. This failure to make its business accessible to everyone was at the heart of a lawsuit filed against Domino’s Pizza.
