HR and Payroll Software Leader ADP to Enhance Product Accessibility

This is an article about human resource and payroll software made by the company ADP. Employees need to use this software at work. The San Francisco LightHouse filed a lawsuit against ADP because blind people could not use the software. The lawyers representing the Lighthouse are part of the non-profit Disability Rights Advocates. After the lawsuit was filed, everyone decided to work together to solve the accessibility problems. They reached an agreement and ADP will make the software usable, make new policies, and make other changes. Structured Negotiation is the method that was used to reach the agreement. It is a way to solve legal problems with less conflict.
On December 16, 2021, the non-profit law office Disability Rights Advocates (DRA) announced an agreement with HR software giant ADP that will improve the accessibility of ADP’s products used by employees of the San Francisco LightHouse for the Blind.
