The CURE CMD organization recently held a webinar as part of their Adaptive Series, aimed at providing their members with the tools and know-how to hit the road in style. They reached out to NMEDA to participate in this series, just another example of how NMEDA’s name is growing as an expert in the field of automobility. The Adaptive Driving webinar covered a range of topics, from how to find and purchase an accessible vehicle, to understanding the ins and outs of EMC driving equipment, and the driver rehabilitation process.

The panel included a dream team of experts, including Amy Lane, OTR/L, CDRS, Director of Education, Training & Conference, Lauren Bolduc and Phil Nuza from Electronic Mobility Controls (EMC), and Kaitlin Finch, OTR/L, CDRS, Driver Rehab Center of Excellence. And let’s not forget the real stars of the show: two CMD community members who shared their experiences and perspectives on driving modified vehicles.
