“Captions Capture Votes” – Candidates & Elected Officials Must Caption!

BE SURE TO VOTE! HELP GET OUT THE VOTE! YOUR VOTE MATTERS ALWAYS! 

START YOUR ADVOCACY NOW WITH ANY CANDIDATES OF YOUR CHOICE – YOUR TAXES, EDUCATION, HEALTHCARE AND MORE DEPEND ON INFORMED VOTERS – THAT’S YOU. 

CAPTIONS ARE NEEDED FOR ALL MEDIA – TV, ONLINE, ANY VIDEOS SHOWN AT CAMPAIGN EVENTS. 

LIVE EVENT CAPTIONING IS ALSO NEEDED – ASK FOR IT. FOR MOST CANDIDATES, PLANNING FOR LIVE CAPTIONING WILL TAKE SEVERAL WEEKS IF NOT MONTHS – ASK FOR IT NOW IF YOU NEED IT.

TALK TO YOUNGER VOTERS – ENCOURAGE THEM TO REGISTER, AND STAY INFORMED. ENCOURAGE OLDER VOTERS TO VOTE ALSO. 

Bravo to CCAC Member Kim Mettache (deaf) for her candidacy in Indiana for a local office in 2018, and being delegate to the State Convention with Live Captioning (see photos) all the way, hooray!

We also salute other CCAC members who are educating other State Conventions that Live Captioning is needed. It take a huge amount of time and energy to advocate. We wish them all the best!
