Doncaster Council has today launched a new campaign encouraging local residents to explore assistive technology as a way for them, or their relatives, to stay more independent.
It is widely accepted that people are better able to lead happy and fulfilling lives if they are able to continue to live in their own homes, amongst their own communities, and maintaining their social networks for as long as possible. Assistive Technology provides an important option to help enable people to live independently; from apps to help with anxiety to pill dispensers to GPS trackers to stay safe.
