Apple Original Film ‘CODA’ Nabs Three Oscar Wins, Including Best Picture

CODA (and Apple) had a very big night on Sunday.

In a press release published late Sunday night, Apple announced its TV+ film CODA won three Oscars at the 94th Academy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles, including the top prize in Best Picture. Troy Kotsur won for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of fisherman Frank Rossi. Siân Heder won for Best Adapted Screenplay.

CODA is the first from a streaming video service to nab Best Picture. Kotsur is the first Deaf male actor to win for Best Supporting Actor.
